Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of DebriefStudio ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

DebriefStudio is a browser-based tool that helps filmmakers and creators turn unstructured project requests into structured briefs. It uses third-party AI models to generate drafts. Output is a starting point — you're responsible for reviewing anything before sharing it with clients.

2. Accounts

You need a valid email to sign up. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. One account per person.

3. Payments, cancellation & refunds

Paid plans renew monthly. You can cancel any time; your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period. EU consumers have the statutory 14-day withdrawal right on digital purchases that have not yet been used to generate documents.

Beyond that statutory minimum, we operate a voluntary 14-day satisfaction refund: if the Service did not do what you expected, contact us through the contact form in the app within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it, whether or not you generated documents. Refunded purchases have their remaining credits removed, and refunds are limited to one per account.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringes IP you don't own, or violates a third party's confidentiality.

5. Your content

You own everything you paste in. We only process it to render your brief. See our Privacy Policy for how AI providers handle it.

6. Availability & liability

The Service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced by email.

8. Contact
